Something for Nanay

Time, patience, understanding, love... Few of the things that taught me how to move in sync with my mother.
Tomorrow on her 59th year on earth, silently I will pray for something that she has been wishing for.

I am the kite and the sky is my playground.
I am free yet I am still held by a string.
A significant string.
The string is my mother.
I was given the freedom... The freedom to decide and to go where I desire but at times when life challenges me and I don't know where to go, she helds me tight and pulls me back home.

I will be forever thankful for the unconditional love, support, patience, and understanding.
